96-well culture plates have a gold-coated, glass bottom (200µm thickness) that has been micropatterned to generate arrays of cell aggregates and permits in situ confocal imaging. Each well consists of up to 220 circular cell-adhesive micropatterns, each with a diameter of 250µm. Plates come individually wrapped and with instructions for a brief sterilization pre-treatment prior to use with cell culture media containing penicillin-streptomycin.
