MADISON (WKOW) — Professors and students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison have developed groundbreaking technology that could assist doctors in identifying developmental disorders before a child is born.

Dr. Randolph Ashton, a UW Biomedical Engineering Professor and Associate Director of the Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center, said that their innovative genetic screening tool, named RosetteArrays, enables scientists to pinpoint the beginning stages of developmental disorders.
